North shore of Kleifarvatn

Waiting for the Nessie troll at Kleifarvatn on the Reykjanes Peninsula with Tim and Roger.

The lake is known for draining itself from time to time. (see news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2001/10/1001_lostlake.html). And the lake refills itself in mysterious ways.

I thought, to photograph it while it is pouring with rain just fits...
